Coral + Turquoise Beach Themed Wedding Pocket Invitations

Brittani found my blog when searching for wedding invitations and asked me to create ones for her destination wedding. Their main colors are coral and turquoise and they liked the idea of a fold over card design. We ended up using the pocket style invitations in metallic turquoise with a coral ribbon accent. They chose to keep the invitation loose inside the pocket:

Another alternative is to glue the invitation to the card stock, with the pocket on the back to hold your enclosure cards:

Congratulations Brittani & David!

Patriotic "firecracker" birth announcements

My friend Kristin asked me to design the birth announcements for her second son. She was due in early July and wanted to use "our little firecracker" as the theme for the announcements. Her son was born on the fourth of July and I had a lot of fun with these. The top two are the front & back of the designs she chose.

Here's an alternate design which I really like as well:

Light Pink + Cream Floral Wedding

Jenn & Rob got married last August and had a classic color scheme of light pink and cream, with a floral motif that we carried throughout all of the pieces. We used grey writing to soften the look.

The invitations are a pochette (or petal fold) and are closed with a monogram square:

Enclosures included an RSVP postcard and a folded booklet of directions and accommodations:

Pink envelopes completed the look, with custom postage that I designed to match:

Large menus were created and featured stands on the backs to display on the tables:

Tented placecards matched the invitations:

Fan programs were perfect for the summer wedding:

Andrew & Carly's Wedding Stationery

My cousin, Andrew, and his bride, Carly, tied the knot back in October.
Their wedding was wonderful -- good food, great music, and excellent company.

When we talked about what they wanted for their invitations, Carly wanted to create a heart motif made using their fingerprints to create the shape, but was open to other ideas as well. I've always wanted to create this tree design and their wedding was my perfect opportunity. We incorporated the heart into the tree trunk and carried it throughout the rest of the stationery.

Since their colors were purple and silver, so we used different colored tents for each dinner entrée -- dark purple, light purple, silver, and a handful of off-white tents.

Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
