Dana & Brian's Pocket Invitations

I'm so thrilled to introduce this new format! This invitation features a pocket on one side with a ribbon accent and double-layered monogram square and the invitation mounted on the reverse side. It's what everyone loves about a pocketfold without the extra paper!

When I presented this idea to Dana and Brian, they were so excited about incorporating all of these elements with their budget. We used a dark grey metallic pocketfold, pale pink matte cardstock, and off-white linen cardstock for their enclosure cards.

Laissez les bon temps rouler!

(Or let the good times roll for those of you that haven't been to New Orleans for Mardi Gras!)

I absolutely love Mardi Gras -- I took a road trip to New Orleans with my friend during my senior year of college for it, and went again with my then boyfriend (now husband) the following year. It is SO much fun. So when Dawn contacted me to create Mardi Gras themed Sweet 16 invitations for her daughter, I was thrilled!

We created a gold pocket, wrapped with a printed purple bellyband featuring a fleur de lis and "16" pattern.

Happy Birthday Brittany -- hope your party is awesome!

Purse Shape Bridal Shower Invitations

I created this purse-shaped invitation back in 2007 and it's still a hit with brides and their moms--this version is for the lovely Susanna, one of my June brides.

Sandra & Robert :: August 14, 2011

Sandi and Robert were one of the sweetest couples that I had the pleasure to work with last summer.

Here are some professional photos of some of their day-of stationery. We used flat black printing, coral and ivory metallic cardstocks, and swarovski crystal accents throughout.

The placecards were double-layered cards with a hole punched for the crystal pins to go through -- they were attached to a bed of cream carnations.

Tented table numbers -- each was a name from the Bible and then one for their sweetheart table:

Heart Shaped Donuts

My friend Allison from Satin Bow shared a great favor idea for those of you having Valentine's day parties (or weddings!).

Dunkin' Donuts has two heart-shaped donuts out right now through the end of February and you can buy them together in a little box. Wouldn't it be great if these were available year-round (even if they were a special order?) to use for bridal shower or wedding day favors?

YUM!
