It's a girl!

My family welcomed a new baby this summer -- a little four-legged girl! Here are the puppy announcements that I created and sent out with our Christmas cards. Better late than never! It's fun to see how much she's changed since we brought her home. :)

These are a great size card and give lots of room for photos -- I've gotten so many messages from friends and family about how much they have loved Gracie's announcements!

Reporting for Duty

My long-time client, Jen, asked me to create some invitations for a party for her brother. He starts boot camp in January so this is a great way to get all of his family and friends together before the holidays are upon us.

Here's what I came up with for her.

Wine Bottle Invitations

Tiffany contacted me to design some invitations for her upcoming ladies' night out -- at a winery! I came up with these wine bottle shaped invitations, putting all of the event information on the label. We attached some circle tags made from cork paper around the neck with raffia. These are so much fun and would be wonderful for a birthday, rehearsal dinner, or bridal shower invitation.

Black & White Stationery

Erica contacted me after she found some tented table numbers created for one of my previous couples. They were featured in a gallery on TheKnot.com, and used the word "Love" in different languages instead of numbers. Here are the designs Erica chose for her table numbers and place cards:

Logo design

Here's a logo I designed for Kelly and Jillian's yoga business, Sthira and Sukha. The name means Strength and Softness in Sanskrit.

The logo features two women in dancer's pose with an om incorporated in the background. I love the colors and fonts used in this one!

Check out this classic stationery suite incorporating autumnal colors -- gold, copper, and burgundy are used with all of the pieces.

Stationery with Bling -- Silk boxed invitations, crystals, and ribbon!

I love this boxed invitation -- it's a gorgeous pewter silk covered box that features a silver ribbon and crystal buckle on the front. It opens up to reveal the triple-layered invitation of gold leaf, pewter, and off white metallic card stocks with rhinestone accents in each corner. The silk box has a pocket which is the perfect place to hold the reception and response cards.

We had 2 different menu designs for this event.....  the first featured a silver ribbon

and the second menu had 3 swarovski crystal accents incorporated into the design:

The place cards featured a square tent in gold leaf, with a sliver of pewter metallic card stock layered underneath the white printed layer. Each was embellished with crystals:

Pennant table numbers

I created these pennant table numbers for the Modern Yellow & Blue wedding and they came out great! These incorporate the bold yellow flower graphic as well as a modern circle with the table number in blue. These pennants would go great at a pool side wedding reception, for showers -- wouldn't they look adorable as golf tee markers?-- as well as signs at some of the kids' parties!

Best of all, they can be completely customized in your event colors!

Summery Yellow & Blue Wedding

Here's an invitation suite that I created in a beautiful yellow and blue color combination. The bold flower graphic really gives this design a modern feel while the fonts keep it whimsical and fun -- perfect for a poolside wedding reception.

The invitation is wrapped with a satin ribbon that holds the response card together as a package:

Matching menus use the blue card stock backing and a banner at the top ties in with some of the table numbers on the tables:

Matching place cards feature yellow card stock tents:

Girly Bowling Invites

Amy found the bowling invitations I created for Tiffany and asked me to recreate them for the joint birthday party of her 2 daughters and 2 nieces. They are using hot pink, lime green, and turquoise accents and I was able to incorporate all into the invitations.

Have a wonderful birthday, girls!
