Joey's Rock 'n Roll 50th Birthday

Joey's wife, Jamie, asked me to design an invitation for her husband's surprise 50th birthday party. Joey is a guitar player and she wanted to create a concert ticket as the invitation. I thought it would be cool to have the ticket be part of a mini concert poster -- here's what I came up with!

5x7 invitation on metallic cardstock with a smooth ticket attached to the bottom with removable glue dots:

The ticket was designed in shades of purple:

Ticket can be removed and the party info is hidden on the card underneath it:

lanyard-style backstage passes:

We had 6 different designs incorporating some of his various guitar-playing photos. The bottom left one is one of my favorites, especially for family and friends that have known him for the last 30 years.

Happy Birthday Joey!

Wendy & Jason's Metallic Pocketfolds

Wendy contacted me to design her invitations and she wanted to the incorporate black, white, and hot pink colors for her wedding. Here's what I came up with.

Black metallic pocketfold with an upright pocket, hot pink satin ribbon with a tied bow closure, and a double-layered invitation of hot pink and white metallic cardstocks.

close-up of the invitation -- this was a mix of flat pink ink for the design and raised black printing (thermography) for the wording:

The open pocketfold with the enclosure cards -- RSVP card with response envelope and a directions card since the ceremony, reception, and hotel were all at the same place.

Close-up of the Swarovski Crystal details - 2 were added to each invitation:

RSVP card -- Wendy wanted to incorporate nuptial script on this card:

All ready to be mailed out to their guests!

God Bless Sophia

Chris contacted me in need of christening invitations for her daughter. She is using pink and brown in addition to a quilted pattern for the reception afterwards and wanted to incorporate all of those elements into the invitations. Here's the final design.

Double-layered invitation featuring a die-cut printed layer on off-white metallic with a quilted design border and a monogram at the top:

Satin ribbon bellyband with diecut monogram feature holds everything together:

Light pink swarovski crystal adorns the monogram on the bellyband:

RSVP cards with matching metallic envelopes incorporate the quilted pattern:

These would also be wonderful for wedding invitations, birthday invitations, and baby or bridal shower invitations!
