Kate & Jordan's Wedding Stationery

Kate first contacted me about her wedding stationery just about a year ago. She was interested in custom save-the-dates, invitations, and stationery for her November wedding. She wanted something traditional but with a modern flair and incorporating her plum and copper wedding colors. Here's what we came up with... Photos are by Samantha Shay Photography.

Square, double-layered save-the-dates incorporate an engagement photo and a custom monogram:

The invitations featured black thermography on a thick, natural white linen card. A copper organdy ribbon was tied around the card and kept the RSVP and directions with the invitation:

The envelopes featured computerized calligraphy, a copper metallic lining, and custom made linen square stickers to seal the envelopes closed:

Square ceremony programs feature the copper organdy ribbon:

Double-layered square placecards of plum and cream:

My signature style table numbers feature a plum tent with a copper satin ribbon embellishment:

Single-layered menus of cream linen cardstock:

Signature drink sign in the same style of the table numbers:

Donation sign adhered to mat board with an easel backing -- Kate & Jordan are also animal lovers and gave to the ASPCA.

Congratulations once again to Kate and Jordan!

2011 Holiday cards

Here are some of the cards I've put together for clients this holiday season. Enjoy!

The Swirling Dots Snowflake card:

Virginia's "Believe" snowflake cards with crystal accents:

Carrie's festive stripes:

Other ideas I had for Carrie's cards:

Puppy Love

My first baby turned the big 1-0 today. Double digits is definitely a big deal, so we had a little family birthday party for him this past weekend. He was thrilled!

The invites are a bone shaped invite in tea length (approx 4" x 9"). I used a photo of him from our vacation to Maine last year for the top half, and my husband came up with the little poem. These were hand-duplexed, so the red layer on the back was printed with the bone/heart pattern and adhered to the front layer before they were all cut out.

Enjoying his Carvel cake!

Family Tree Birth Announcements

About 2 years ago, Lisa contacted me to see if I could create her vision for her daughter's announcements. She wanted to have a photo on the front and a family tree on the inside of the announcement--a great way to show off her baby's family heritage and who she's named in honor of.

Here's what I came up with. The photo is diecut to create a tab --a glue dot can be used to keep it closed. The tree features snowflakes on the branches since Alana was born in December. This can be created with leaves or flowers for a fall or spring baby, too.

Here's the email I got from Lisa when the announcements arrived to her:
"Oh, Jen, I could cry!!!  They are beautiful!!!  They are exactly what I envisioned!!  It is so exciting to actually see and hold them!!!  I cannot wait to get them out and see what people think!!! Thank you so very much!!!  They are everything I'd hoped they would be!!!!"

Thanks, Lisa!

favor boxes

New product -- favor boxes! These can be made in any color to correspond with your event. They hold small items, like candies. The available toppers are the flower, daisy, star, graduation cap, butterfly, heart, snowflake, duck, and I've got a die so I can create my own shape as well.

Modern Black and White Wedding

Ali and David wanted a black and white wedding invitation, but with a modern twist. We used an off-white metallic cardstock with Swarovski crystal accents. The pocketfold was held horizontally with the cards stacked in the pocket below the invitation. Guests' names were printed on the seals.

Classic Black and White Wedding

When Robyn looked through my samples, she fell in love with Gina and Bryan's black, white, and red invitation, but wanted to change up the colors. Here's her variation:

Computerized calligraphy uses the same fonts as the invitation

Michelle & Kevin :: Green & Brown Wedding

Michelle and Kevin used chocolate brown and sage green for their wedding colors. They went with the pocketfold in metallic bronze, and a matte sage as the accent color.

We put the names of the guests on each invitation's seal--a great alternative to inner envelopes.

Michelle and Kevin chose the accommodations and directions booklet -- we put their names and wedding date on the cover, directions to the church, directions to the reception, and accommodations info all in one spot.
