Sandi and Robert were one of the sweetest couples that I had the pleasure to work with last summer.

Here are some professional photos of some of their day-of stationery. We used flat black printing, coral and ivory metallic cardstocks, and swarovski crystal accents throughout.

The placecards were double-layered cards with a hole punched for the crystal pins to go through -- they were attached to a bed of cream carnations.

Heart Shaped Donuts

My friend Allison from Satin Bow shared a great favor idea for those of you having Valentine's day parties (or weddings!).

Dunkin' Donuts has two heart-shaped donuts out right now through the end of February and you can buy them together in a little box. Wouldn't it be great if these were available year-round (even if they were a special order?) to use for bridal shower or wedding day favors?

Christening Invitations

I was pulling together some photos of Christening Invitations for a new client and thought I would share them here as well.

Andrew's off-centered gate folds -- these are wrapped with a chocolate brown satin ribbon and closed with a square closure.

6 Swarovski Crystal AB stones were used to make the cross accent on the invitation:

Maggie's were colorful 5x7 invitations and incorporated one of her infant professional photos:

Ryan's invitation was a tealength gate-folded card, wrapped with a pewter satin ribbon and secured with a square seal. Inside opens up to reveal the blue printed card along with a photo and a sheer white organdy ribbon accent.

Laureen & Chris :: Gold and Burgundy Wedding

The first wedding of 2012 is Laureen and Chris. They wanted a gold pocketfold with ivory cards, a burgundy accent, and metallic papers. Here's what I came up with:

Helen & Juan :: Purple & Silver wedding at The Mill

Helen and Juan were one of my August 2011 couples. Helen knew exactly what she wanted when we sat down four our consultation -- a silver pocketfold with a ribbon accent, purple printing, and metallic cardstock. Here's what I came up with for her invitations.

I also got to create the stationery for their wedding day, including hanging placecards, table numbers (2000-2010 -- Helen and Juan were highschool sweethearts and spent the last decade together), sign for the candy buffet and matching stickers with their monogram, single-layered menus for each place setting, and "Mr." and "Mrs." signs for their chivari chairs.

 This was yet another beautiful wedding designed by Kisha of Pure Ambiance Events, and special thanks to Nadya Furnari Photography for the beautiful photos! 

Kate & Jordan's Wedding Stationery

Kate first contacted me about her wedding stationery just about a year ago. She was interested in custom save-the-dates, invitations, and stationery for her November wedding. She wanted something traditional but with a modern flair and incorporating her plum and copper wedding colors. Here's what we came up with... Photos are by Samantha Shay Photography.

Square, double-layered save-the-dates incorporate an engagement photo and a custom monogram:

The invitations featured black thermography on a thick, natural white linen card. A copper organdy ribbon was tied around the card and kept the RSVP and directions with the invitation:

The envelopes featured computerized calligraphy, a copper metallic lining, and custom made linen square stickers to seal the envelopes closed:
